PEARL COMPRESSED ASBESTOS FIBRE JOINTING SHEETS

Compressed Asbestos Fibre Jointings are manufactured from carefully selected Chrystolite Fibres, intimately blended with suitable heat resisting binders etc. and vulcanised into sheets of homogenous compositions and uniform thickness.

Highly specialised knowledge and technical skill is so necessary to the production of adequate grades of Compressed Asbestos Fibre Jointings to satisfy service parameters, resistance to contained fluid and pulsating loads, if necessary. PEARL C.A.F Jointing sheets are recommended for sealing Water, Steam, Alkalies, Organic & Inorganic Acids, Thermal Oils, Ammonia and various Chemicals.

In some cases where operating temperature is high and the gasket width has to be narrow, as in cylinder heads, exhaust manifold on internal combustion engines, here Metallic Jointing Sheets with mesh wire gauge is required.

PEARL manufactures 8 different grades of C.A.F Jointing S heets, depending upon different conditions and requirements of the plants where it is required, with difference in certain specific qualities such as Operating Temperature & Pressure and nature of Fluid or Gas.
